Zelin Feng is a PhD student in the European Law Programme. He holds a Juris Master from Beijing Normal University and a Bachelor’s in Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering from South China University of Technology. His research focuses on comparative civil liability regimes for AI in the EU and China .
- Served as one of the team leaders in China’s most prestigious national academic competition for university students, the “Challenge Cup”, winning a national first prize.
- Co-led a large-scale empirical investigation on rural land institutions in China, coordinating over 3,400 volunteers across 31 provinces, with one provincial report officially recognised by the competent authority.
- Designed a magnon–photon coupled microcavity system enabling tunable fast–slow light effect conversion, published in an SCI-indexed journal.
- Was awarded exemption from the national entrance examination to the Juris Master through the Ministry of Education recommendation scheme.
- Master’s thesis received the faculty’s Outstanding Thesis Award.
