She graduated from Ca'Foscari University of Venice with a degree in Interpretation, Editorial and Sectoral Translation. Afterwards, she earned her Ph.D. in Modern Language Teaching from the University of Bologna, specializing in the topic of teaching Italian as a second language (L2) for study purposes to Chinese students.
