Graduated in archaeology from the University of Catania, his main research interests include ancient topography and landscape archaeology. He is engaged in various archaeological missions both nationally and internationally and has also worked as a professional archaeologist on investigation projects funded by public and private entities.
Over the years, he has chosen to specialize in the use of remote and proximal sensing techniques applied to archaeological research, as well as in the management and processing of field-acquired data through GIS platforms.
Since 2021, he has been a PhD student in Cultural and Environmental Heritage (37th cycle) at the University of Bologna (Ravenna Campus) with a research project focused on the investigation of the coastal archaeological heritage of southern Albania through a long-term perspective (supervisors: Prof. G. Lepore; Prof. B. Muka)
