I pursued my academic career at the University of Turin, where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History (2019) and then a Master's Degree in Historical Sciences (2022).
Since November 2022, I am a student in the PhD course in Historical and Archaeological Sciences at the University of Bologna (38th cycle).
My research project, whose title is Greek East, Persian West - Cyprus and the Levantine Wedge between Two Fires, through the 5th and 4th Centuries B.C., aims to present the reciprocal influences and the continuity of policies and strategies which were experienced by the coastal regions of the far south-eastern Mediterranean (mainly Cyprus and the littorals of Cilicia and Phoenicia). The main subject of the analysis focuses on their interaction with the two major actors that were involved in them during the Classical-Achaemenid period - the Greek-Athenian one, to the west, and the Persian yoke, to the east -, and is interested in finding the main vehicle of such contacts in the sea.
