Vittoria Bianchi

Archaeologist and anthropologist graduated at University of Padova and University of Ferrara, I obtained my MSc at University of Pisa. I am interested in funerary rituals, osteology and paleopathology. I collaborated with the Bioarchaeology Service of the Museum of Civilisations (Rome). I was assistant researcher at Universty of Bologna for PRIN 2022 project HABITS - Life-histories of prehistoric human groups in South America: a tale on environmental adaptations and subsistence economies at University of Bologna.

My PhD project will study the bioarchaeology of a sample of individuals from Dhofar (Sultanate of Oman), to improve the knowledge about the demographic profile, the mobility and the health staatus of the populations that inhabited the Arabic Peninsula.
