Virginia Negri is a postdoctoral researcher in Electrical Engineering with the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering, University of Bologna, Italy. She received the Ph.D. degree with honors (cum laude) in Biomedical, Electrical, and System Engineering in 2026 from the University of Bologna. She also received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2020 and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2022 from the same university. Her research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to electrical power systems, with particular attention to AI-based measurement architectures, as well as the development and implementation of measurement and processing algorithms on embedded platforms and microcontrollers.
