PhD student in Global Histories, Culters and Politics at the University of Bologna since 2022.

Her studies are mainly centered around the history of the Middle East in the modern and contemporary era. She graduated with a thesis on the debt bondage in the pearling industry of the Arabian Gulf, with a particular focus on the role of the area within the regional and global context. 

She is currently focusing her research on the slave trade lanes of the Arabian Peninsula in the early decades of the 20° century.
