Viki Mladenova

Viki Mladenova is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of History and Cultures, University of Bologna in the ERC Advanced Grant "The Game: Counter-mapping informal refugee mobilities along the Balkan Route". She holds a PhD in International Studies from L’Orientale University in Naples, Italy. Beside carrying out ethnographic research along the Balkan Route, and in particular in the so-called ‘Southern Balkan invisible spatialities’, she has strong research attachment to biopolitics and critical legal studies. Previously she worked as a project research assistant at Refugee Law and Migration Center - Iustinianus Primus Law Faculty, Skopje, and Macedonian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights.
