Veronica Bagaglini is a teaching tutor for the Italian Language Laboratory. She obtained a PhD in Linguistics (Italian Linguistics curriculum, L-FIL-LET/12) in February 2019. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Pisa (2019–2020) and at the University of Bologna (2021–2025). She has also held adjunct teaching positions at several higher education institutions, including the University of Bologna, Università Guglielmo Marconi, and Sapienza University of Rome, where she currently teaches Italian Linguistics. In addition, she has collaborated with INVALSI (2012), with RAI on the program L’Italia con Voi (2020), and has taught in upper secondary schools (class A012). She has delivered teacher training courses, given seminar lectures at the University of Oslo, and collaborated on educational publishing projects.
Her research interests include the history of the Italian language, Italian linguistics, pragmatics, and the teaching of Italian.
