Veronica Bagaglini is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Bologna, where she is carrying out a project on private writing and semi-literate writers, and she also works as an adjunct lecturer. From 2021 to 2024 she taught at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the same university. She collaborated on the IDENTITIES project (2021–2022). In February 2019 she obtained a PhD in Linguistics (Italian Linguistics track, L-FIL-LET/12), and from 2019 to 2020 she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Pisa. She collaborated with INVALSI in 2012, held adjunct teaching positions at the Università Guglielmo Marconi (2018–2019), and taught in upper secondary schools (class A012) in 2020. In 2020 she was a contributor for the RAI programme L’Italia con Voi. She has delivered teacher-training courses, collaborated on educational publishing projects, and given seminar lectures at the University of Oslo.
Her research interests include the history of the Italian language, Italian linguistics and pragmatics, and the teaching of Italian.
