Short Bio

She is a PhD student in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences and Technologies working on a Programme in International Cooperation and Sustainable Development in the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Bologna University.
Her general area of investigation looks at agricultural and food policy development for the transition to sustainable agri-food systems. She applies behavioural economic methodologies to investigate consumers' and producers’ decision-making processes. The approach is systemic and looks at the interconnections among the different actors of the food supply chain, analysing effective interventions that might be implemented at public policy level.

She is involved in several Horizon Europe research projects, as well as national and regionally funded initiatives. She has been working for a year as a Research Fellow coordinating the exploitation activities of the results of the four-year Horizon 2020 project, FoodE, which deals with the development of sustainable city-region food systems in sustainable urban food policies.
