Graduated in Ancient History at the University of Bologna, received a Master's Degree in Archeology and cultures of the ancient world in 2016.
PARTICIPATION IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL MISSIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA
● 2023 June-August : Turkey, participation as area supervisor to the Turco-Italian archaeological expedition at Karkemish, directed by Prof. N. Marchetti.
● 2023 May-June: Uzbekistan, field director for the surface survey of the Italo-Uzbek expedition to Samarkand (UIAP project), directed by Prof. S. Mantellini; training of Unibo students and Uzbek ministry staff.
● 2023 January : Iraq, field director for the surface survey in the Abu Ghraib district, scientific director Prof. N. Marchetti.
● 2022 May-June : Uzbekistan, field director for the surface survey of the Italo-Uzbek expedition to Samarkand (UIAP project), directed by Prof. Mantellini; training of Unibo students and Uzbek ministry staff.
● 2022 January : Iraq, geomorphological research (QADIS project) in the Afak area with the sampling of ancient canals conducted with Profs. Marchetti and Mantellini, surface survey in the NW Amarah province (Maysan), directed by Prof. Marchetti;
● 2021 November: Mission (field survey) in the Maysan region (Iraq).
● 2021 September: Mission (field survey) in the Samarkand region (Uzbekistan).
● 2020 November: Iraqi-Italian excavation mission in Nineveh.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES IN THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD
● 2016 July-December: webmastering, data entry, map georeferencing, spatial analysis,
CAD drawing within the GIS projects linked to the www.orientgis.net portal.
● 2017 January-February: Professional collaboration assignment with the University of Bologna
within the EU WALADU project with the following tasks:
development of a module for the training course for Iraqi university staff on
GIS issues
● 2018 October-December Professional assignment for CRAST - Research Center
Archaeological and Excavations of Turin with the duties:
○ Data entry on Iraqi archaeological sites and management and maintenance of the website
the webGIS platform to be implemented as part of the EU EDUU project;
○ Support to field training activities aimed at the beneficiaries of the EDUU project (students and
Iraqi teachers, community leaders and staff working in the field of cultural
heritage in Iraq);
○ Dissemination of the results of the EDUU project;
● 2019 December-January: Professional assignment of collaboration with the University of
Bologna with the following duties:
○ consultancy for the development of online teaching materials on the topics of cleaning and design
ceramics and GIS (Geographic Information System) for university students
partner of the EU WALADU project.
● 2020 June-July: Professional collaboration assignment with the University of Bologna
with the following duties:
○ expert advice in the field of GIS (Geographic Information System) relating to
management and maintenance of the website of the webGIS platform
ArchIraq / FloodPlains as a tool to support and strengthen the sector
of preventive archeology in Iraq as envisaged by the "Banuu" project.
● 2020-2021 December-January: scholarship for research activities at
the Interdepartmental Center for Archeology Services of the University of Naples l’Orientale, a
support of the archaeological mission in Azerbaijan with the following tasks:
○ remote sensing survey conducted in areas of the Azerbaijani territory.
○ expert advice for the realization of a GIS project related to the evidences
Azerbaijani archaeological sites.
