Tristan is a PhD student at the University of Bologna. In 2016, he obtained a BA in Communications with minors in Psychology and Creative Writing from John Cabot University (Rome, Italy). He then went on to pursue his MA in Film Studies at King's College London (UK), where he graduated in 2021. His areas of research interest fall at the intersection of media studies and gender studies; specifically, his work focuses on media renditions of trans* subjectivity and embodiment.
