A researcher and lecturer at the University of Bologna since 2021, her work focuses on the Resistance, fascist collaborationism and transitional justice, the politics of memory surrounding WWII in Western Europe, and the history of the Italian Left in the second half of the 20th century, from a comparative perspective. She is co-editor of Italia contemporanea, the journal of the F. Parri National Institute.
Since her earliest studies, she has drawn on oral history to explore the relationship between justice and memory. In 2025, she extended this research approach to the 1990s, launching an interview project with Jacopo Lorenzini within the Memory Lab on student and alter-globalization activism in Bologna, alongside the analysis of movement archives and related judicial proceedings.
Her research brings together the historiography of the Second World War and the study of political rhetoric and initiatives that emerged in response to post-1989 wars within the context of globalization.
