Assistant Professor in General Surgery and PhD candidate at the IRCCS Sant’Orsola Malpighi, University of Bologna. After graduating from the same university, he focused his clinical and research activities on colorectal surgery. His primary interest involves the application of robotic technology in the treatment of rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases.
He completed important international training periods, including a Visiting Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA) and a Clinical Fellowship in Robotic General Surgery at the Orsi Academy and the AZORG Hospital (Belgium). He actively collaborates with both institutions and is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals.
