Syed Tabin Haider is a PhD researcher at the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Energy Observatory of ARPAE. His research focuses on the development and analysis of regional greenhouse gas (GHG) emission scenarios, with particular emphasis on the Emilia-Romagna region’s transition toward carbon neutrality by 2050. His work is grounded in the Regional Energy Balance (BER) framework, following Eurostat methodologies, to systematically assess energy flows and their associated emissions.
His research interests include energy system modeling, climate change mitigation strategies, and data-driven policy support. He employs advanced data analysis and visualization techniques to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively to both scientific and policy-oriented audiences.
