Research

Keywords: halloysite nanotubes reactions in cyclodextrins rearrangement heterocyclic mononuclear Micelles natural bioactive molecules

Research topics include:

- supramolecular chemistry: non-bonding intermolecular interactions, molecular recognition, cooperativity, self-assembly, and self-organization.

Aggregate systems (micelles and liposomes) are studied to evaluate their characteristics and the loading of various molecules, with a particular focus on natural bioactive substances.

- host-guest chemistry: study of complexation kinetics and thermodynamics, determination of binding constants, and determination of release rates of small molecules.

- nanostructured systems (allosites and hypercrosslinked polymers): use of nanostructured systems to increase the stability and availability of various molecules, including natural bioactive molecules.

Use of methodologies to study supramolecular interactions: NMR, mass spectrometry, fluorescence, calorimetry, and EPR.
