Lei Sun

Sun Lei is a doctoral candidate in the Architecture and Design Culture program at the University of Bologna, supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). His research focuses on the "Successful green regeneration of industrial heritage buildings: identification, assessment, and design strategies."

His objective is to integrate architectural design and project management knowledge to establish sustainable design methods that facilitate the green regeneration of architectural heritage. Through the identification of key success factors, criteria, and performance evaluations specific to these projects, he aims to offer valuable insights for promoting sustainable green regeneration in industrial heritage buildings. His research will incorporate collaborative design methods and draw guidance from initiatives such as the New European Bauhaus, contributing to the realization of sustainable green regeneration in industrial heritage architecture.
