After graduating in Literatury Studies from the University of Macerata and in Historical Sciences from the University of Rome "La Sapienza," he obtained his PhD in Historical and Archaeological Sciences in 2022 with a dissertation in early modern history, from the Department of History, Cultures and Civilizations at the University of Bologna, in cotutelle with Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the Laboratoire de Recherche Historique Rhône-Alpes, where he has been chercheur associé since 2023.
He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the University of Molise [PRIN Individual well-being, domestic health and collective health: spaces, practices and cultures in Early modern Italy (16th-18th centuries)] and adjunct professor at the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ravenna campus).
His research, focusing on the history of medicine and the body, explores its connections with the history of Catholicism and justice in early modern Italy, with particular attention to social dynamics and the study of medical practices.
