Research interests – Scientific Output

The main research interests of Prof. Stefano Stagni concern synthetic Inorganic/Organometallic chemistry and the study of the photophysical properties of transition metal and lanthanoid-based coordination compounds. More specifically, he has devoted his 20-years research activity to the design and the preparation of luminescent organometallic and coordination complexes containing nitrogen rich ligands, with particular attention paid both to the fundamental studies for the prepared compounds and to the investigation of their potential applications in materials and life sciences.

 

Prof. Stefano Stagni (Researcher ID: J-4969-2012; ORCID: 0000-0002-7260-4845) has authored 82 peer-reviewed journal articles. From 2002, his scientific work has been cited more than 2100 times with an h-index of 29 (metrics from Scopus 2024/02/23).
