Dr. Stefano Salvioli, born in Carpi (Modena), Italy, on April
16, 1966. Graduated in Biological Sciences "cum laude" on
July 1991 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. On 1997 he received
a O.I.P. fellowship (Organization for International
Program) from April 1st to May 31, at the Department of Molecular
Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry, Brown University, Providence, RI, USA. On February 1999
he received his PhD on Experimental Pathology, at the University of
Bologna. Visiting professor from September
1st to December 2nd, 2002 at the Department of Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. From January 2005 to October 2014 Dr. Salvioli was Assistant Professor at the Department of Experimental Pathology; from October 15, 2014, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine, University of Bologna. He teaches Immunology at the School of Medicine and the School of Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Motor Sciences, University of Bologna. He participated to several EU Projects as a member of the UNIBO Unit. Affiliated with the IBT platform of the IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna.
