Stefano Mariani

Stefano Mariani is a Senior assistant professor (fixed-term) in the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering at the University of Bologna. He was one of the recipients of the Bando Rita Levi Montalcini 2020 (230k€). He received his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Perugia and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, USA. He then joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College, London, UK, where he held a Research Associate position. His research interests include non-destructive evaluation, structural health monitoring and ultrasonic guided wave propagation. Go to the Curriculum vitae
