The research is currently developing in these directions mainly:

Studies on accuracy and precision in different condition of Mobile Mapping Systems:

Use of Lidar for quarry monitoring;

Studies on GNSS Precise Point Positioning Technique;

Development of software for GNSS Planning  (Skyplot_DEM);

-Set up and maintenance of network of GNSS Permanent Stations for post-processing and Real Time (RTK) techniques.

-Terrestrial Survey methods for the control of ground deformation and subsidence phenomena in Real Time and in post-processing;


Others past research have covered the following areas and subjects:

In the Framework of National Programme of Research in Antartica has participate at 6 Antarctic Expeditions

He has work:

-          on Mediterranean Geodynamics study using GPS technology;

-          on survey for Cultural Heritages (in Perù and Sardinia)

-          on study of different approach for fiducial point for Cadastre

-          Survey definition of a river basin in Haiti
