In her professional experience, she has worked on design and interventions aimed at improving well-being and social cohesion. Research experiences address issues such as climate adaptation, social integration of migrants, and sustainable development of urban and rural communities. Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects and collaborations with agencies, institutions and various organizations have brought strong interest in the relationship between social disciplines and the hard sciences and multi-level relationships. Passion for social change and commitment to community empowerment orient research aims toward the promotion of social justice and democratic participation through the use of participatory research methodologies and in the design and implementation of interdisciplinary and innovative solutions to complex social challenges.
