Collaborazione formale con:
ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE DE CHIMIE DE MONTPELLIER
Paese:
Francia
Descrizione:
The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier (ENSCM, National Graduate School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering) is a public specialised institution for chemical studies and research which graduates every year about 100 chemical engineers. Its staff of 88 researchers and teachers and about 80 PhD students are supported by European, national and industrial grants. Their four main research areas are: (a) a chemical approach to nanosciences, providing synthetic tools to all other research areas; (b) green chemistry for sustainable development, including ecological synthesis processes, valorisation of renewable resources as materials and fuels, pollution control systems; (c) elaboration of materials with specific functions, spanning from catalysts to materials able to reduce energy demand; (d) chemistry for healthcare and agriculture, with special emphasis on molecular chemistry and vectors for biological targets. R&D activities are carried out at the Institute Charles Gerhardt of Molecular Chemistry and Materials. In particular, in the Renewable Ressources to Materials and Molecules research group.
