Sofia Ventura

Sofia Ventura is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Bologna, Italy. Her research focuses on Italian and French politics, political leadership, political communication, public diplomacy, and the international communication of war, with particular attention to Ukraine. She has been a visiting fellow at CEVIPOF, Sciences Po Paris, and a visiting professor at the Kyiv School of Economics. She is the author of numerous books, book chapters, and scholarly articles, and has published in international journals including Celebrity Studies, International Journal of Strategic Communication, South European Society and Politics, Contemporary Italian Politics, and Journal of Modern Italian Studies. She writes for Huffington Post Italia and QN – Quotidiano Nazionale and has authored several op-eds for Le Monde.
