Description:: The collaboration with Northeastern University focuses on the development of innovative solutions for next-generation Radio Access Networks (RAN). Activities involve the application of cloud computing approaches to the 5G RAN, with particular emphasis on the implementation and testing of xApps within the Near-RT RIC (Near Real-Time RAN Intelligent Controller). A dedicated testing platform enables the evaluation of performance, interoperability, and efficiency of these applications, supporting the evolution of open and intelligent architectures for future mobile networks.
