Simone Zanini

Simone Zanini (1994 Bologna), architect founder of MARKETSQUAREOFFICE, an architectural, landscape, and urban design practice based in Bologna. He carries out design and coordination activities for public and private works of collective relevance, with a primary focus on architectural and urban-scale composition. He began his independent professional practice in 2021. His design experience ranges from the new construction of the 0–6 Early Childhood Education Centre “L’Abbraccio” in Montese (MO) to the restoration of the Historic Upper Thermal Baths in Porretta Terme (BO).

Alongside his professional activity, since 2018 he has been engaged in the academic environment as a teaching assistant in Architectural Composition [CEAR-09/A]. Initially, he worked within the “Architectural and Urban Composition I” design studio in Building Engineering–Architecture, and subsequently within the “Architectural Design I” studio of the International Master in ACPCL and within the “Architectural Design III” studio in Architecture (Cesena department) of the University of Bologna.
