inVISIBILI is a science outreach initiative aimed at children aged 5 to 11, organized within the Department of Physics and Astronomy “A. Righi” at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. Launched during the 2023/2024 school year, the project involved more than 1,600 children across over 80 classes from preschool, primary, and lower secondary schools. Activities took place in schools located in Bologna, Zola Predosa, Pianoro, Granarolo, and Cesena – reflecting a clear intention to go beyond the metropolitan area and engage schools often disadvantaged by geographical distance. The goals of the inVISIBILI project are to foster STEM skills and combat gender disparity in STEM fields.
