Silvia Vituliano

Research fellow at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna since December 2022. She carries out her role as a biologist at the Infectious Diseases Unit.

The activity of biologist turns towards the virological and immunological field, with particular attention to:

• evaluation of immunological patterns in response to acute SARS-CoV-2 infection and in response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in different patient cohorts (healthy and SOT).
• evaluation of cell-mediated response (IFN-gamma deletion) following COVID-19 vaccination with the ELISPOT method (after isolation and purification of lymphomonocytes from peripheral blood with Ficol-Paque Plus).
