Silvia Spagnoli

I am currently a PhD candidate in Chemistry, specializing in photochemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and molecular materials. After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Parma with top marks, I completed a Master’s Degree in Photochemistry and Molecular Materials with honors at the Università di Bologna. My thesis on a light-triggered polymeric pump complemented research carried out at the Institut Charles Sadron of the CNRS (Strasbourg, FR)  on functional polymers and molecular machines. From 2023 to 2025, I was a PhD candidate at the University of Bordeaux (FR) within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie network “MultiSMART.” I am currently pursuing my doctoral research at the Università di Bologna within the Marie Curie Doctoral Network "MonaLisa", dedicated to the optimization of supramolecular pumps and light-driven molecular systems, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Credi and the co-supervision of Dr. Stefano Corrà.
