Graduated with full marks in 2008 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bologna, in 2012 she obtained the title of PhD in Morphophysiology and Veterinary Pathology with Biotechnological Applications.
She is currently junior researcher at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna, where she holds a module in the integrated course of Special Veterinary Pathology.
Her research activity mainly concerns oncology and in particular the histopathological and immunohistochemical characterization of prognostic factors in animal neoplasms; she is also involved in cytological and histopathological diagnostics and in the management of the Veterinary Learning Portal.
In 2017 he obtained the National Scientific Habilitation, sector 07 / H2 for associate professor. In 2020 he obtained the European Diploma of Veterinary Pathology (ECVP).
Co-author of more than 50 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals (h-index: 14). Associate editor of PLOS One and BMC Veterinary Research. Member of the Italian Society of Veterinary Oncology (SIONCOV).
