Silvia Pitzalis, PhD in Anthropology,is adjunct professor at the University of Bologna and the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Her research fields range from political anthropology to legal anthropology, from the ethnographic investigation of disasters and migration phenomena to managing emergencies in crisis processes.
