Silvia Cocchi

PhD student in Astrophysics at the University of Bologna.

My research focuses on extragalactic astrophysics, specifically on magnetic fields in galaxy clusters. I use total intensity and polarized radio observations, alongside cosmological simulations.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Physics and my Master's degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology from the University of Padua. I completed my Master's thesis work at the INAF Cagliari Astronomical Observatory.

I started my PhD in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Annalisa Bonafede.
