Shoayb Mojtahedi

I am an engineer, physicist and researcher specializing in advanced manufacturing and materials for electrochemical energy storage technologies. Currently holding a research grant on “Novel Battery Electrolytes” at the University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Soavi, focusing on sustainable, high-energy systems based on deep eutectic solvents (DES) and multivalent metals for hybrid redox supercapacitors. I have hands-on experience in the COMAS R&D pilot line for dry coating of Li-ion electrodes, bridging lab innovation with industrial scalability. Skilled in wet/dry electrode fabrication, powder mixing, slurry preparation, coating optimization, and critical metal recovery from spent batteries.
