Shahriar Mokhtari

I am a PhD student and research fellow at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering (DICAM), University of Bologna. My research focuses on high-precision GNSS positioning, PPP/PPP-AR techniques, multi-GNSS processing, and geodetic time-series analysis.

My PhD work is connected to the ICEGIANT project and focuses on GNSS-based monitoring of Antarctic ice dynamics, with particular attention to glacier flow, tidal effects, and vertical and horizontal ice motion. I am also involved in geomatics applications for marine habitat monitoring within the PRIN-funded MANATEE project, including underwater photogrammetry and integrated optical, acoustic, and navigation data.
