Seyedalireza Seyedi is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna (Department of Economics) and a researcher in applied quantitative analysis. His research interests include environmental and resource economics, applied econometrics, and evidence-based policy assessment, particularly cost–benefit analysis, non-market valuation, and ecosystem service valuation. He develops and applies statistical and machine-learning methods to economic and environmental data, with a focus on transparency and reproducibility. Prior to his current teaching role, he held a Research Fellow position at the University of Bologna (2024–2025) and has professional experience in data science and analytics. In teaching, he combines lectures with hands-on laboratory activities, using R to support applied learning.
