Sergio Gilotta is associate professor of Business Law at the University of Bologna, where he teaches business law and financial markets regulation. He holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Law and Financial Markets Regulation from the University of Bologna and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Before joining the Bologna Law School in 2012 as a researcher, he has been adjunct professor of International Commercial Law at the School of Economics of the University of Bologna as a Research Fellow at the University of Florence. His research interests range from comparative corporate law to financial market regulation, and include topics such as corporate disclosure, company groups, financial derivatives, insider trading, takeover law, sustainable finance. He is the author of two books and several other national and international publications on these themes.
