Tenure-Track Researcher in General Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Bologna, where a PhD in Psychological Sciences was earned. Research focuses on cognitive processes, including perception, memory, learning, decision-making, and creativity, as well as on emotions and their interaction with cognition. Current research interests concern the relationship between visual perception and memory distortions. Research methods include subjective measures (self-reports), behavioral measures (accuracy and response times), and physiological measures, particularly electroencephalography and the analysis of event-related potentials (ERPs). Research activities have included collaborations with national and international research groups and a period as a visiting researcher at the Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention, University of Florida (USA). Teaching since 2020, with tutoring and teaching support activities since 2010. Member of the Academic Board of the PhD Programme in Psychology and of the Department of Psychology's Third Mission Committee.
