The scientific activity is performed in Process Engineering, and it mainly concerns typical topics on “Membrane and membrane reactor processes for liquid mixtures”. Fields of interest are membrane characterization, transport phenomena modelling and process development on an industrial scale.
Applications are Nanofiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, Electrodialysis and Membrane Contactors for mass transfer and chemical reactions in chemical and process industry, food and biotecnology industry, with environmental and energy interests.
