Sarah Mantegna

I am a research fellow at the Department of Interpretation and Translation, in the context of the European project CORALIVE - ORAle Comprehension, Romance Languages, Intercomprehension and Evaluation (line KA220-HED - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education).

I have a background in translation and completed a binational PhD in Language Sciences and Digital Humanities at the Université Savoie Mont Blanc and the University of Genoa, with a specialisation in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. My work focuses on intercomprehension and plurilingualism; my research interests extend to medical and legal translation and the use of computer-aided translation tools. I am currently involved in the diagnostic and formative assessment of listening comprehension skills in Spanish.
