2008: PhD in "Mechanisms of cell regulation: morpho-functional and evolutionary features", University of Urbino. Thesis: “Cellular and subcellular localization  of Na+/Ca2+ exchanger protein isoforms, NCX1, NCX2, and NCX3 in cerebral cortex and hippocampus of adult rat ”

Scientific Activity

Cell death is the most important topic of her research, and she studies it in a number of cell systems, with multiple morphological,biochemical and molecular approaches.

Author of 151 scientific publications among which 53 full papers on peer-reviewed journals
