Sara Molho received her PhD in Visual, Performing, and Media Arts from the University of Bologna in 2026. Her research sits at the intersection of visual arts, groups, media, and technology in Italy over the last decades of the twentieth century. At the same university, she serves as a tutor in History of Contemporary Art for the School of Specialization in Historical-Artistic Heritage and as a teaching assistant (
cultrice della materia) in History of Contemporary Art. At the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, she is a teaching assistant in Phenomenology of Art Criticism. She is a member of AVEC (Art, Visuality and Electronic Culture), a group founded at the Department of the Arts of the University of Bologna, which recently published
Seamless. Arte, visualità e cultura elettronica nell'epoca post-pandemica, edited by Francesco Spampinato (NERO, 2025). In 2024, she was awarded a Library Research Grant from the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles.
