Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and a Adjunct Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Already Post-Doc Researcher and Adjunct at the University of Naples
Federico II (2022-2023), she was Weinberg Fellow of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University in New York (2022), where she presented a study on the relations between the
varietas and the social organization of the
marmorarii's workshops in Rome in the 15th century. While the Cortile della Pigna was under restoration, she collaborated with the Vatican Museums on research on the Cortile del Belvedere. In her studies she has dealt, in particular, with the role and profile of patrons, such as that of the Venetian cardinal Marco Barbo, on whom she has recently published a monograph (“Horti Hesperidum”, 2023). She has also investigated the management of architectural building sites in the Early Modern Age, with insights into the representation of architecture in the other arts.
