Chairman of Technical Physics in the
Engineering Faculty at Bologna University from year 1975 and
Director of the Energetic, Nuclear and Environmental Control
Engineering Department (DIENCA). Past-President of
the Institute for the Refrigeration - Technique, of the National
Research Committee and Member of the International Institute of
Refrigeration. Past-President of ASTER (Company
for the technological Development in Emilia Romagna).
Past-president of the Italian Thermo-Technical Association
(Department of Emilia Romanga). Member of the
Directive Committee of the Italian Union of
Thermo-Fluid-Dynamics. Member of the ItalianThermo
Technical Committee and of the Italian Association of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air Conditioning. He has been
involved and is still presently involved in several Activities,
such as Research, Projecting, Consulting and Testing, all mainly in
the sector of the of Energy industrial equipment Applications, of
Heating and Refrigerating Technique and of the
Environmental Protection. Borne in Imola (Bo) in
19th January 1939. Has taken the Degree in
Engineering in year 1962. He has subscribed at the
Engineers' Order of Bologna. He Has achieved a
Master in Economics and Companies Organisation at the IPSOA
Institute in Turin in year 1963. Author of a long
list of more than 100 publications on national and international
magazines and on Acts of international conferences.
The Research activity he has been doing concerns mainly
following themes: heat transfer in natural and
forced convection, the finned surfaces ,
fluid flow and heat transfer in mini e micro
channels, the air diffusion throughout the
industrial equipments.
