Sandro Pittini

SYNTHETIC

He graduated in architecture at the IUAV of Venice in 1989.

In 1998 is PhD in Architectural Composition at the same Faculty. From 1999 to 2003, gets a check for research at the Faculty of architecture at the IUAV, contact prof. A. Rudi, a study and design on any newly discovered archaeological sites in the North lagoon of Venice. He is currently an adjunct professor in Museography at the Faculty of architecture at the IUAV in Venice and the Faculty of architecture “Aldo Rossi" Cesena Bologna University focusing specifically on the theme of " Museography for archaeology” and lecturer at the International Seminar in Museography of Villa Adriana_”Premio Piranesi" held annually in Tivoli and the Itinerant Master in "MuseologyArchaeology, Architecture, and strategic planning and Innovative management of archaeological sites" with its headquarters in Rome.

With Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra has held intensive courses in architectural design at the Faculty of architecture at the IUAV of Venice.

Recently it has been called upon to take a course of Museology at the school of specialisation in “Beni Archeologici" della facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell'Università Cattolica of Milan

Since 1990 opens a study dealing with professional design of buildings and public places.

2 UNIVERSITY SERVICE

On the 19th and 20th of December 2016 I was invited in Seville as a professor to the Master de Arquelogia at the University of Seville and University of Granada with a contribution to the topic “Difusiòn y puesta en valor del Patrimonio Arquelogico”.

On the 5th and 6th of December 2015 I was asked in Palermo to give lectures to the first-level Master “Esperto in valorizzazione e Comunicazione museale del patrimonio Culturale Indoor ed Outdoor” related to the NEPTIS "Ricercatori ed Esperti di Alta Tecnologia e Innovazione Tecnologica Applicata al Settore dei Beni Culturali" project of the University of Palermo.

In the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic years I’m an adjunct professor of the course “Architectural Composition/Museography” in the Final Workshop entitled “Design, History and Restoration”. School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna, Campus of Cesena.

In the 2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011, 2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 20015/2016, 2016/2017 academic years I have taken part to the managment of the Laboratory of Final Synthesis entitled “Archaeology and Project of Architecture” in the Department of Architecture “Aldo Rossi” – School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna, Campus of Cesena. I was adjunct professor in Outfitting and Museography and also supervisor of some master thesis.

In the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic years I’m an adjunct professor in Staging and Exhibition Design in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Trieste located in Gorizia.

In the 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic years I’m an adjunct professor in Architectural Design Workshop in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Udine.

In the 2012/2013 academic year and in January – February 2014 I was an adjunct professor of the intensive planning course “Workshop” WAVE 2013, Architectural Composition at the IUAV University of Venice.

In the 2013/2014 academic year I was an adjunct professor of the Architecture and Infrastructure design studio 1 in Architectural and Urban planning. Department of Design and Planning in Complex Environments at the IUAV University of Venice.

On the 11th of June 2014 I was asked to give a lecture in the “FakultätArchitektur” at the “TechnischeUniversitat” in Dresda within the course Architectural Planning given by the prof. Andreas Schubert Bau. Speech entitled “ArchitekturfurdenOrt”.

In the 2010/2011, 2012/2013 and 2014/2015 academic year I was an adjunct professor in Museology in the Post-graduate School of Archaelogy of the Department of Literature and Philosophy at the Università Cattolica del sacro Cuore di Milano.

In the 2011/2012 academic year I was an adjunct professor in Architecture of Environments for Catering Purposes in the Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna, Campus of Cesena.

Professor of the “Master Internazionale Itinerante in Museografia, Architettura e Archeologia. Progettazione strategica e gestione innovativa delle aree archeologiche” organised by the “Accademia Adrianea” located in Rome.

In the 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic years I was an adjunct professor in Museography (ICAR 16) in the Department of Architecture at the IUAV University of Venice. I was supervisor of master thesis.

On the 13th of March 2008 I gave a lecture entitled “Il tempo, grande costruttore” in the Architectural Planning Workshop given by prof. G.V. Consuegra, Academy of Architecture Università della Svizzera Italiana di Mendrisio.

In the 2008/2009 academic year I was an adjunct professor in Architectural Design Workshop (ICAR 16) in the Department of Architecture at the IUAV University of Venice.

In July 2005, 2006, 2007 and in July 2013 I collaborated in the Workshop WAVE in “Architectural Composition” given by prof. Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra in the Department of Architecture at the IUAV University of Venice.

Starting from September 2004, and in the following editions in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 I was a professor in the International Museography Seminar Design Competition – Premio “Giambattista Piranesi”, which takes place every year at Villa Adriana, Tivoli - Rome.

In the 2004/2005, 2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 academic years I was an adjunct professor in Outfitting and Museography (ICAR16) in the Department of Architecture “Aldo Rossi” of Cesena at the University of Bologna. I was also supervisor of some master thesis.

In the 2003/2004, 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 academic years I was an adjunct professor in Interior Architecture within the Final Workshop in the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna, Campus of Cesena. Coordinator prof. Valter Balducci.

In the 2002/2003 I was an academic tutor in Architectural and Urban Composition IV (ICAR 14) in the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna located in Cesena. Supervisor arch. Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra, professor emeritus at the University of Seville.

Also in the 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 academic years I was a tutor in Architectural and Urban Composition IV at the same University.

In the 2000/2001, 2001/2002, 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 academic years, I was an assistant professor in Architectural Design Workshop at the IUAV University of Venice, given by prof. Arrigo Rudi. I was also able to be assistant supervisor of master thesis.

From 2003 to 2007 I was part of the Teaching Staff as a tutor in the course of Doctorate Studies in Architectural Composition in the Department of Architecture at IUAV (supervisor prof. Luciano Semerani).

 

3 WORK  EXPERIENCE

I’m a licenced architect since January 1990. I’m a registered architect section A branch architecture since February 1994.

From 1990 to 1993

I worked at the office C.M. di Venezia, architetti I.Cappai&P.Mainardis, contributing to many public and private projects.

I have opened my architectural office in 1990. I conduct my professional activity mainly between Udine, Treviso and Venice and it consists in the planning and the management of operations for public tasks such as: schools, graveyards, environmental arrangements, churches, and private tasks: residences, offices, laboratories, set-ups. I took part in many national and international contests gaining awards and recommendations. The leading magazines in the field have published my works.

I’m part of the Landscape Committe in Gemona del Friuli (UD) since September 2015.

I was invited to the Italian episcopal conference (CEI) as an expert in the field of Architecture for Liturgy. I was part of the panel of judges in the National Contest for the new Church at the Parrocchia dei Romiti, Diocese of Forlì – Bertinoro. Curia di Forlì Bertinoro, April 2015 – July 2015

I was asked to exhibit in the 14th Architecture Exhibition of Venice, 2014 edition. The title of the set-up was “Designing the Sacred” in the section “Monditalia” in Corderie dell’Arsenale. May – November 2014

I’m part of the Sacred Art Committee of the Liturgical Diocesan Office of the Treviso Diocese since January 2009.
