ACADEMIC POSITIONS
- Since 2017, he is professor in Law of Islamic countries at the University of Bologna Law School.
- During the academic years 2006/2007 - 2007/2008 - 2009/2010 - 2015/2016 - 2016/2017, he was awarded the position of Tutor for the faculty of Private Comparative Law at the University of Bologna Law School.
- April 2013, lecturer for the MBA/China – Far East Business Relations program, Bologna Business School. Subject of the lessons: Foreign investments in Asian countries: companies and joint ventures.
- Since 2012, he holds an Honorary Fellowship in Law of Islamic countries at the University of Bologna Law School.
- April 2010, lecturer for the Master for International Lawyers program, University of Bologna. Subject matter: Sources of Islamic law.
- July 2009, lecturer at the Summer School of the University of Bologna. Subject matter: Private Comparative Law.

- Since 2003, he is Collector of publications for the faculty of Private Comparative Law and the faculty of Law in Asian Countries at the University of Bologna Law School.

- Since 2015, he holds the teaching position in “Halal and Kosher certification: dietary rules in Muslim and Jewish law” as part of the Master “Supervisor of quality and food safety in the agri-food chain” organized by Keplero Servizi.

- April 23-24, 2014, lecturer on “La Costituzione dell’Afghanistan” (the Constitution in Afghanistan) during the International Conference on “Constitutional transitions and democratic reinforcement in the Islamic legal system – trends and outlook” held at the University of Bologna, Ravenna Law School.
- April 4, 2013, lecturer on “Fonti laiche e fonti religiose negli ordinamenti islamici” (Secular and religious sources in Islamic legal systems) during the Seminar on constitutional systems and judicial models in Islamic legal systems held at the University of Bologna.
- December 4, 2012, lecturer on “Finanza islamica e contratti permessi dalla Shari’a” (Islamic finance and contracts allowed by Shari’a) during the meeting on “Ethics in economics and finance” held in Ravenna and organized by the “Center for Islamic studies and culture in Romagna”.
- February 12-15, 2012, participation in the “1st International Conference on Halal Food Control & Exhibition” held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as delegate from Halal Global, Italian organization for Halal certification.
- December 2, 2011, lecturer on “Halal e Haram lecito e illecito nell’alimentazione secondo i precetti religiosi e normativi dell’Islam” (“Halal and Haram what is allowed and forbidden in food according to the religious principles and norms in Islam”) at the meeting held at the Industrial Union of Parma.

- 2009, he obtained a license to defend in front of the Superior Courts.
- 1999, he is registered as an auditor with the Board of Auditors (Revisori Contabili) and holds positions as auditor in several companies.
- 1995/1996 - 1996/1997, he attended the “German law and business trade and Italian – German private law relations” seminar at the University of Ferrara, Department of Law.
- 1994, he obtained a license from the Board of Lawyers of the Bologna Appeals Court.
- 1991, he earned a degree in Law at the University of Bologna.
