Sam Thomas

An early stage researcher, currently focused on the development of sustainable catalytic processes. My current works involve the synthesis of heterogeneous catalysts for the complete valorization of second generation lignocellulosic biomasses into high-value chemicals; eventually driving towards a one-pot catalytic system.

Previous works involve the analytical characterization of lignocellulosic biomasses for the Reductive Catalytic Fractionation - Aqueous Phase Reforming coupled process, done at ENI S.p.A. as part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master "Advanced Spectroscopy in Chemistry" programme.
