Sadaf Fathi

I am currently a Research Assistant at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences, University of Bologna. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's degree in Technology Management.

My research focuses on the application of computer-based solutions in medical imaging, particularly using Python for image analysis and classification tasks. I am actively involved in the METASTRA project, which aims to support personalized treatment planning for patients with spinal metastases. The project leverages advanced computational models validated in clinical settings to automatically classify vertebral fracture risks from spinal images.

My interdisciplinary background in engineering, management, and programming allows me to contribute to the technical development and optimization of robust, clinically applicable AI solutions in healthcare.
