She graduated summa cum laude in Historical and Oriental Studies in 2019 from the University of Bologna, with a thesis in Chinese History entitled Contemporary History of Labour in the Republic of China (Taiwan).
She holds a PhD from the Transcultural Studies on Eurasia and North Africa program jointly offered by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Heidelberg University. Her doctoral project was entitled Chasing Sisterhood: Transcultural Sino-Italian Networks in Global Women’s Activism (1949–1963).
