PhD Student in “Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges” (FRONTIERS [https://phd.unibo.it/future-earth-climate-change-societal-challenges/en] ) in partnership within the European Project “Population Dynamics under Global Climate Change” (POPCLIMA [https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101002973] ).

I am going to assess the impact of climate change on human mortality patterns under the supervision of Raya Muttarak. The project has the objectives to study the way (direction and extent) in which climate change influences human mortality, to examine the differential impacts of climate change on subgroups of populations; to identify the mechanisms through which climate change influences demographic outcomes, and to forecast future population dynamics under climate change.

In the past, I worked at the ENEA research center with the aim of detecting anomalous concentrations of radioactive particles caused by the explosions of nuclear weapons tests, which are illegal in all environments and monitored by the comprehensive nuclear test-ban treaty organization (CTBTO [https://www.ctbto.org/our-mission/the-treaty] ).
